Hope all is going well. Last year today we called you and made arrangements to come and see Pepper (Dale???) over the weekend. I remember it very well because it is my son's birthday today and it was a birthday gift for him.

I thought I would drop you a note today and tell you how happy we are with Pepper. He is such a joy. We all love him a lot. We went to hiking to Havasupai Falls last September. He hiked back-and-forth the whole time with us (10 miles each). Only towards the end we had to carry him. I owe you some pictures. Hopefully soon I will send you some.

Hi Jamie!!

I know it's been awhile since I have written, but I just wanted to tell you how much we absolutely LOVE MINNIE!! She is the best dog ever!! Her personality is so cute, playful and loving we cannot explain. She truly has been the best thing that has ever happened to us. She has blended in so well with our family it's hard to imagine how it was without her prior. She is always there to meet me when I come home from work or Kelly comes home from school. She does this cute little dance on her hind feet it's just precious.

We have taken her on a few walks with the leash, however, there are way too many new smells for her to even begin to concentrate and she is everywhere!! She loves going out into our backyard and "sun" herself as the weather has been so good. She definitely knows when the weather is too hot to go outside but she isn't too bad on the few days of rain. In her first experience she kept looking up and wondering what that wet stuff was! We couldn't help but laugh. She was good and went outside to do her "potty" and came back in!! As we all know there are going to be occasional mishaps in the house, but I am used to them by now and I can't yell at her because she is so cute!!

We just got back from being in San Diego for a few days and we took Minnie to the vet to be spayed while we were gone so she would have time to heal and recouperate. I will be picking her up on Monday and now it is soooo lonely in the house without her being here. Our flight got in too late to pick her up today :( I really miss her she is my shadow and I am lost without her. Trixy and she are getting along very well and play a lot together.

I cannot thank my lucky stars enough for finding you on the internet the day I did. I will send you more recent photos as soon as I can get Kelly to download them. She has a new puppy cut and of course is adorable! She is very much like the color of her daddy (as I am always telling her!!)

Wow! Daisy is fitting in just nicely ALREADY! She came off of the plane, looking through the crate door and started wagging her tail as soon as she saw us. Then it was kisses for everyone! She found a pinecone in our front lawn that she loved. I love the way she plays like a cat. She was even playing in the left over snow piles! It has been quite a day for her and already I’m impressed w/ her temperament and ability to adapt. WE LOVE HER! We’ll send pictures soon….

Hi Jamie!
Minnie just wanted to wish Dale, Daisy, Chip and Mesha a Happy 2nd Birthday!! It's hard to believe they are two years old already. Minnie is the most precious pet that anyone could ever have wished for. She is an absolute joy everyday.

Today she got extra treats and a special dinner of duck and sweet potatoes for her big day!! She also got a new chew toy!
